Good afternoon WCC folks,
There is some interest in this Finale long TT. So we shall go ahead it this week. (My last open weekend for a long time.)
Date: Sunday, August 30, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. (sign in 8:30)
Where: Newry Public School, North Perth
Route: Newry-Brussels-Newry (39km)
Parking: Newry Public School
Description: This is a long course Time trial, which is key to understanding you FTP and endurance. The route is an out-and-back on a quiet country road. Some smaller rollers but nothing large. Road is 19.5 km with no stops the turn around is just before entering the town of Brussels.
This is open to ALL WCC members…as TTs are individual efforts, it is you against the clock. Nobody is turned away, all bikes and every person is welcome. I will put a marker at the 10km point as well, to allow anyone that feels 39 km is too much, you can do a full 20km TT, instead of our usual 14km.
Please indicate going and post an expected time in the comments, so I can seed the start appropriately.
