Worst Vuelta Ever

Hello!

It’s time for another round of…

The Worst Vuelta Ever!

The goal: Make the worst team possible as the team with the lowest score at the end wins.

The ONLY rule…you MUST use all 100 points to make your team. Honour system…but if the race starts (this Saturday) and you haven’t used all 100 points… you’re disqualified from the competition.

If you created a team for the tour de France, you will automatically be in that league.

If you’re new…create your team and then join this league: 725767412

Good luck…er…Bad luck!
May the worst team win!

The lanterne rouge! Judging how poorly my TdF team performed, I should be really great at this

Pick a team as if you’re aiming for the highest and use the “good luck”? :grinning:

One week in and the race to the bottom (to be ‘the top’) is showing a tight race…
a couple teams, unfortunately, had stage winners selected.

With 4 stages remaining, the race for second worst (2nd place!) is tight with 84 points separating 3 teams.
I’m proving that I really know how to pick a horrible team…

And @pascallap is showing that he struggles picking a good team (TdF) or a bad team (Vuelta)!

@TommyB this is really giving extra sting to being in 2nd place :skull:

@pascallap …consider this payback for the attack the last time up Hawkesville hill in the club race.

The race isn’t over yet, but I’m not used to sitting at the top…

hey @SteveSh …i think you missed the top message in this thread?

The goal for the Vuelta is to pick the worst team possible.
Winner is the team at the bottom

Ahhhh no wonder I’m on top! I just entered a team as I always do, trying to rack up points. Then I entered the WCC league without reading this thread.

I guess this means I’m really bad at picking teams

One strategy is to pick people who would crash out so their points are frozen. I have 2 such people.

I’m completely guilty of thinking the sprinter teams having a smaller showing, making it a climbers event his year so why not pick expensive sprinters. What could go wrong? Then Kaden Groves does his thing :man_facepalming:
