G2G Special Meeting

We need to show Guelph City Council and the Guelph Junction Railway that we need to “Close the Gap” between Silvercreek and Woodlawn on the G2G Trail. The existing route up Silvercreek Road is not safe for pedestrians and cyclists to access the trail.

A large number of concerned citizens attending this meeting will demonstrate that this is an important project that must be completed now.

It is important that we have a large delegation in the council chambers onTuesday, June 24th at 4:30 p.m., for the Annual General Meeting of the Guelph Junction Railway at Guelph City Council Chambers!

Please attend to show how important we believe the Guelph Gateway Trail Completion Project is and help to “Bridge the Gap”.

Please commit to attending.

Thanks @CWilson for posting this → I used to do this as part of my KW-Guelph commute and couldn’t agree more that this needs improving. Has this been posted to the Guelph cycling clubs as well? (I assume so?)

I would hope so, they’d have the largest voice.

Having a fully connected G2G trail is so important and would make a huge difference for getting less experienced ppl out there exploring more and having an amazing time on bikes and outdoors! Its such a family/all skills trail and if it was fully connected it would be even better. I hope it goes well.
