Cycling goals/plans for 2025 - what's yours?

I’d like to do another pseudo ‘bike packing’ trip in 2025. Julie and I were lucky enough to get away for 3 days of cycling along the Petit Train du Nord trail from St Jerome to Nominique in Quebec during the height of the fall colours in the beginning of October. 90% of it was on multi use trails.

We each had a 10-15L tailbag with a change of clothes, jacket etc. and split a suitcase and used a shuttle service to bring it from one accomodation to the next.

Anyone got suggestions for other places within a day’s drive of KW to do a semi supported bike tour/ gravel tour?

Waterloo’s very own @mkadey created https://www.bikepackingontario.com. They run the BT700 among several other trips, events, tours for bikepackers.

We like the quick 1-2 over nighters. GNR (Grand Nith Ramble), NWM (No Winter Maintenance), and FF (Farmer’s Folley).

If you can get a light 3 person tent, you can lug it and you and Julie can try a fully self-sustained trip…which is a real joy when bikepacking.

Something to consider.

A few years ago me and the wife did the bonton roulet near the finger lakes. Really well supported, aid stations, sag wagons, meals provided and your camping gear was moved for you.
