2025 Gravel Time trial results

First crack at the gravel Time trial was April 9th. It was pretty cold out, so fairly heavy layers for the riders (and higher air density too ).

I’ve pulled the results from the Strava segment, and also I’ve seen a few others have tried the course recently as well.

I know my experience that night was I had a kinda low-ish power output, but my timing result was actually my worst ever.

Second go at the course is now posted, for May 14th: Current forecast is a light east wind, but possibly rain :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

May 14th was our second go at the Gravel Time trial. We had a big crowd at the start, and a mostly easy ride over to the start. A few folks came out just for the ride over and to cheer on.

We ended up with 12 doing the course. Caitlin met us at the start, and just as we finished, Andrew appeared, and proceeded to head out on the course. (Wait, they got the fastest male and female time, maybe the strategy is to get to the course on your own? )

The surface seemed quite good, possibly a little better than the first TT in April. The wind was interesting, a fairly strong wind from the east.

I think anyone doing it can agree with me that turn 3#, onto Lawson from Lavery was shocking. The headwind felt ferocious.

@AdamLewis check youre ride settings: if the start or end of the ride is hidden, the segment won’t be matched.
