Hi Members:
The Waterloo Cycling Club’s Annual General Meeting and Spring Social will be on Tuesday March 28th, beginning at 7 PM. We’ll be at Bingemans’, same room as the fall social - enter at the Bowling / Boston Pizza door.
The evening’s schedule is:
7:00- 7:30 social
7:30 - 8:00 AGM
8:00 - 8:30 more social time
8:30 raffle / door prizes
Just like the fall social and previous spring socials, we’ll have a cash bar and food.
For the AGM portion, we’ll have a specific schedule (as usual):
Proposed AGM Agenda:
- Call to order
- Establishment of quorum
- Appointment of scrutineers
- Approval of the agenda
- Approval of minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting (minutes)
- Approval of Reports
a. Financial report.
b. Report from the WCC Trails (The Hydrocut)
c. Report from the President - Election of Directors
- Adjournment

Only 2023 members are eligible to vote at the AGM.
If you are unable to attend you can vote by proxy. To vote by proxy please submit a signed letter of intent to the club email info@waterloocyclingclub.ca at least 2 days prior to the AGM.
A proxy holder may only hold 2 proxies, and does not need to be a club member.

Open positions for Club Directors
Among the items for the AGM is electing Directors. At this point we do have spaces open for 2023 Directors. This is your opportunity to give back to the club, and shape it’s future direction. If you’re interested in joining the board, email info@waterloocyclingclub.ca to find out more.
Among the more valuable skills and aptitudes we’re looking for are:
- people with IT experience
- people with marketing or sales experience
But with that being said, the main attribute is a desire to give back, and help the club thrive.
