Anyone signing up for this year? I am planning on it, I’ve heard that it’s a good time. It will be my first attempt.

I rode the long course last year on a Gravel bike. It was a lot of fun, some of the single track is challenging at times especially in the last half on a Gravel bike when tired.
It is hard to say what is the better bike (MTB, Gravel, CX) as they will each excel in different sections. @Shane runs the event.

We were discussing this at the CX Worlds party and the consensus there was that a mountain bike was almost certainly faster, but that there’s definitely nothing wrong with using a gravel or cx bike for the race. For myself, I wouldn’t call it a mountain bike race even though I would likely choose to race it on a mountain bike.

I am hoping to leave before noon so hoping to be there by 3 or 4.
I’m in too. Love this event, it’s like a classic “urban adventure” ride, but it’s a race too. This will be like, my 5th year, so not planning to pre-ride
