Lungomare Hotel Italy

Buongiorno everyone at Waterloo Cycling Club,

what if your next group cycling holiday took you to Italy, riding through rolling hills, the Apennines, quiet roads, medieval villages and castles?

My name is Antonietta and I am writing to you from Cesenatico, in Romagna, the hometown of the unforgettable cycling champion Marco Pantani, in a region where cycling is part of our history and our way of life.

We are located on the Adriatic coast, but it only takes a few kilometres for the landscape to change completely. Leave the flat roads behind and you are soon riding through the Romagna hills, surrounded by vineyards, countryside, scenic climbs and small villages. Head further inland and you reach the Apennines, with more challenging routes for riders looking for elevation and serious training.

And almost always, around the next bend, there is something worth stopping for: a medieval village, a fortress, a castle, a beautiful piazza or a traditional trattoria where you can taste a local speciality.

When we discovered your Club, we immediately thought that our region could be a great destination for one of your future cycling trips.

:person_biking: ONE CLUB, MANY RIDERS, DIFFERENT LEVELS

When travelling as a group, not everyone necessarily rides at the same pace.

That is why every day we organise up to 6 different guided rides, divided according to fitness level, distance and average speed. This allows every rider to join the group that best suits their ability and the kind of ride they feel like doing that day.

From those who prefer to take it easy and enjoy the scenery to riders looking for more kilometres, more climbing and a tougher workout.

Road, Gravel, MTB and E-Bikes:everyone can choose their own way to discover Romagna.

:castle: A DIFFERENT ROAD EVERY DAY

One of the best things about cycling in Cesenatico is the variety.

During the same holiday, you can alternate between flat roads, rolling hills, climbs, the Apennines, countryside, vineyards and historic villages, changing distance, elevation and difficulty every day without the need for long transfers.

One day might be a relaxed ride through the hills; the next could take you towards a challenging climb or a small hilltop village waiting to be discovered.

That is what makes a cycling holiday here different every day, whether you stay for just a few days or decide to stay longer.

:spaghetti: AND AFTER THE RIDE?

The day does not end when you get off the bike.

At the Lungomare Bike Hotel, you will find everything you need to recover, relax and enjoy the rest of your day:

rich post-training buffet from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• secure and fully equipped Bike Room with mechanical assistance
Pinarello road, Gravel, MTB and E-Bike rental
• panoramic Technogym fitness centre
• wellness centre, massages and recovery treatments
• two heated outdoor swimming pools
• and, of course, Romagna cuisine and hospitality

Because a cycling holiday with your club is not only about the kilometres you ride. The moments you share together afterwards are just as important.

:airplane: FROM CANADA TO ROMAGNA? WE CAN HELP WITH THE LOGISTICS

We know that organising a cycling trip across the Atlantic can seem complicated.

That is why we can also help you with the travel arrangements.

You can come to Italy with or without your own bicycle: we can organise tailor-made transfers to and from airports and train stations throughout Italy, including bike transportation.

And if you prefer to travel light, you can rent a Pinarello directly from us and have it ready for you when you arrive.

You focus on the riding.
We will help you take care of the rest.

:italy: WHAT IF ITALY WERE YOUR DESTINATION FOR 2027?

Does your club organise cycling holidays or training camps?

For groups, we particularly recommend spring and early autumn, when the temperatures are ideal for cycling and you can enjoy the roads and the region at a more relaxed pace.

If the idea sounds interesting, we would be happy to prepare a personalised, no-obligation proposal, based on the number of participants, the different riding levels, your preferred travel dates and the type of experience you would like to organise.

I am also attaching a short presentation of the Lungomare Bike Hotel and our services dedicated to cyclists.

To give you an even better idea of everything our destination has to offer beyond cycling, I am also including a presentation of Cesenatico and the surrounding area, with ideas, experiences and inspiration for discovering our part of Romagna. You can browse Cesenatico Bellavita by clicking here.

If Cesenatico and Romagna have sparked your curiosity, simply reply to this email and let me know roughly how many cyclists you might be and when you would like to travel.

From there, we can start imagining your next cycling experience in Italy together.

Warm greetings from Cesenatico,

Antonietta Niro | MKT Dept
