I’m out this weekend, have fun in the sand.
My boys and I are also out. Hardwood has always been a fun and unique race due to amount of natural sand. But we’ll be at a race in the US this weekend (Major Taylor).

Im wondering if the Holmgren family will make an appearance. Would def help bring in some local fans to see the rainbow jerseys. 2 years ago at Hardwood Isabella was racing the cx without a world title to her name.
My family is close to Hardwood Hills so this race works good for us. I was expected a good field but looking like the holiday and US rases is affecting sign ups.
Unfortunately I can confirm the Holmgren’s won’t be there this weekend. My boys are both been invited to join Rob’s team (Stimulus Trek) and they are down in Indianapolis this weekend. I heard from Rob that both Gunnar and Isabella will be in Indy although Isabella won’t be racing since she had a nasty crash at MSA and dislocated her shoulder.
Isabella (and Ava and Gunnar) have all had outstanding years and it would be awesome to get see them at a local race. Isabella wearing a rainbow jersey at local race would be epic. Maybe Levis on Nov 17th??
Sounds about right. I knew they wouldn’t be racing it. Looks like another easy win for Even Moore. Parker just registered so ill try to hold his wheel to gap John Barnes early.

Jayden McMullen is the other youngster to watch. He was at the Highlands race and was ahead of Evan, but he flatted twice on tubulars and dropped out of the race. It was a bit of a s**t show for flats. Jayden won CX junior nationals last year but has graduated to U23 or Elite. He’s also in Indy this weekend but should be at some of the other O-Cups.
Yes I know. But he’s not at Hardwood…so Even it is.
U23 is different beast when it comes to Nats.
Hey @bike_daniells are you bringing the tent? I could bring it back if you aren’t going to stick around until the end of the day. Looks like a chance of rain so I guess I will get mud tires mounted just in case.
I’ve sent an email asking for space, I’ll bring it and hope I get a response.
