Best Outdoor 20min FTP Test Locations

Hi everyone, I’m new to the area and am looking to do a 20-minute FTP test outdoors. What are some good locations/roads/routes that would be best for this?

Would prefer the road to be wholly (or mostly) uninterrupted (no stop signs, train crossings, numerous turns, etc.) and relatively flat.

I live in the Auditorium neighbourhood in Kitchener, but am willing to bike (or drive!) a reasonable distance to get to a great FTP test spot, since I do these tests so infrequently.

Thanks so much for any and all ideas.

Come to the TT tonight! Or use that segment. It’s pretty flat, smooth, no stop signs or traffic, and has only one turn around. It’s 14k which for some people is around 20 mins (longer for me!)

Another route I’ve used personally is Mornington Twp. Road #121. From Poole Mennonite Church to Hwy 86 … It’s pretty flat and straight.

Distance is pretty much 15km precisely one way. That should give you a solid 20+ minutes. Best time to use that route is early morning on a weekend.

But yes, come to the TT tonight, that will give you a solid 20- 25 min test.
