I have this new holiday off work, but the kid is still going to be in daycare so a ride is in order.
Is there any interest in a daytime gravel ride? It falls on a Thursday.
Mark did a route that visited a residential school awhile back - maybe something like that?
I don’t have the day off, but I do highly recommend a ride to Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford, which is the site of a former residential school. I rode down in August and it was a powerful experience.
It’s also just a great gravel ride: the elevated rail trail that skirts the south end of Brantford is beautiful, as well as the roads and trails getting there. My ride was 140km, but it could be a little shorter (or longer!).
