But FCVA interim president Eric Hueston believes there could still be options that don’t lead to shutting the doors forever.
“We were able to find the landlord is quite willing to negotiate a new lease,” Hueston said in a statement. “We have reviewed an environmental report that shows asbestos is not detectable in the air or on any surface. Feedback suggests that there continues to be a demand from the cycling community for the (velodrome) to continue.”
I would be nice to see the facility continue. While I mainly ride in Milton, FCVA is a cool venue and it seems to be really important to the SW Ontario cycling community.
