Just posting for my son Sagan since he can barely get an Instagram post out.
Sagan travelled to Saint-Félicien this past weekend for his 3rd Canada Cup race this year. The first two were at Sherbrooke, QC and Canmore, AB.
He had two of his best races this weekend. In the short track he placed 3rd out of 45 racers in the U19 expert category. But in the XCO race he managed to improve that to take 2nd place. The points he gained moved him up a massive 27 positions to rank 39 in the UCI world standings. The cool part is the current world leader for Junior XCO MTB is Ethan Wood from BC!
Next up is MTB nationals in Victoria BC on July 16th-18.
Sagan is 2nd from the left. He is a WCC member and races for Stimulus Trek.
