Hi folks!
I’m a part of an organization called Red Raccoon Bike Rescue. We started as a response to the pandemic with free bike repairs in Victoria Park on Saturdays.
We’ve done some growing and will continue our efforts post pandemic as we’ve seen our services are in demand and fill a niche in the community.
We’ve expanded to fixing donated bikes and selling them for a reasonable price. These sales benefit lower income community members where price can be a barrier to cycling as well as generating revenue to help us with expenses like buying tools and parts and paying rent.
