Hello all you gravel riders and racers! Now that P2A is completed for the year it’s time to think of your next race. I have been assigned to officiate at a NEW gravel race June 1st.
The event takes place at the 100 Acre Brewery just outside Peterborough and will be utilizing the roads and TransCanada trail east of Peterborough (towards Hastings). The course looks fun, and very punchy!!
There are two distances – 100 and 60 km. Race categories of Open Men & Women, 50+ Masters Men & Women, U19 Men & Women and Gender Diverse. Prices are: 100 km = $90, 60 km = $80, (U19 = $60 for both distances). Start time is 10:00 a.m. and there is free food and bevies after the event is over. I think this is a fantastic deal for an event in Ontario.
As this is their first year, I thought I should put a plug into the club to help support them in their endeavor to put on a new race. I would love to see some familiar faces out there June 1st.
