Ride with GPS basic versus premium

It looks like I have ride with gps BASIC.

  1. Did this become active since I renewed my membership with WCC?

  2. It is worth while to upgrade to premium?

I was hoping there was a nominal upgrade cost from basic to premium but it looks like I need to buy premium for $99.99 per year. Basic cost is $77.99

  1. Does anyone know if there is a way to pay the difference to upgrade ?

Hi Patti;

I checked your profile in ridewithgps. You weren’t in the “ride leader” list, so I added you.

You should now be able to access the more premium features that the club subscribes to. If you go to the club homepage inside ridewithgps, you should see a “sign into club” button. Clicking that will sign you into the club account, so you’ll have access to the better features.

Just note that any route you make when signed in would be in the club library, not your own.
But you could, say, make a route using the club features (like heatmap, or the additional layers available) save it to the library. Go back to your own account, and then copy that route to your personal account (then delete the club library copy).
