I know this isn’t cycling related, but it does affect many of us, so I thought I’d post this here in case anyone is willing to donate to the cause.

**On November 20th, I participated in Voices Empower: _Walk to Break the Silence_ , a 6km self-directed walk to raise funds and awareness for Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and women and children our community experiencing domestic violence.**

_ **Every 6 days in Canada, a woman is killed by her intimate partner.** _ By July 2021, the number of femicides in Ontario had already surpassed the total number of femicides that occurred the previous year. We must continue raising awareness and funds to prevent these tragedies from happening. _ **Please consider making a donation to support my fundraising efforts and help me reach my goal!** _
