# Steppe Up for Ukraine - Fundraising Ride

As was done last year, the Steppe Up for Ukraine Tour of the Niagara Region ride is set for **Saturday, July 22, 2023**.  
Below is the message from one of the organizers of the event and an image of their poster. If you’re interested in participating and/or have any questions, feel free to contact Larry or the email address on the poster!

_The need is great and the spirit is contageous. Last year we even had a few riders in town from Holland - though it’s not too hard to get the Dutch on bikes. The ride raised $100,000 and we hope to match that this year._

_There is no fee to come out and ride. We hope though that you register and do a bit of fundraising - Every bit helps._

_The Perogie Pedalers set a happy tone with their blue and yellow attire complete with tutu. Of course your club kit would be a most appropriate attire._

_Though this is a self guided ride, there are 3 distances (20, 60,120) with a few challenges for the hardiest thrown in._

_We start at St. Mary’s Ukranian Church in Niagara Falls and ride through a variety of nice countryside before returning where the kitchen will offer up some Ukranian fare._
