# Help with a brake bleed!

Hey,

I just got back from a trip with my mtb and had a rear brake failure. I tried bleeding the brakes but it didn’t help so I bought a new lever. I installed it and bled it and while it does make some pressure, it’s still a lot squishier than I’d like, even after pumping it up. I was desperately hoping to get it ship shape for tomorrow’s hydrocut party. Would anyone be willing to give me a hand either tonight or tomorrow morning to try and figure it out?

Hey sorry to see no one reached out to respond here! Burping is best thing to start with imo. Whole bleed isn’t as often needed as just getting the bubbles out. Google it if unsure, wayyyyy easier than doing a bleed.
