Key passage:

_But FCVA interim president Eric Hueston believes there could still be options that don’t lead to shutting the doors forever._

_“We were able to find the landlord is quite willing to negotiate a new lease,” Hueston said in a statement. “We have reviewed an environmental report that shows asbestos is not detectable in the air or on any surface. Feedback suggests that there continues to be a demand from the cycling community for the (velodrome) to continue.”_

I would be nice to see the facility continue. While I mainly ride in Milton, FCVA is a cool venue and it seems to be really important to the SW Ontario cycling community.
